Description
Step 2: Transperitoneal approach.
- Trocars placed lateral to the abdominis rectus muscle, with at least 4 cm distance between them, in order to avoid conflict.
- Medial mobilization of the ascending colon. Careful dissection of the duodenum
- Isolation of the right ureter, which is used as a guidance at the lateral border of IVC towards the renal pedicle and will be sectioned only at the end of the procedure
- Isolation, ligation and sectioning of gonadal vein
