Description
To end the procedure, the operative field is checked to ensure that all lymph nodes have been removed and to determine whether the ePLND template has been successfully accomplished. Lowering the pneumoperitoneum pressure to 5 mmHg for a few minutes enables localization of previously undetected venous bleeding. At the conclusion of the ePLND, the tissue monoblocks from the left and right side are collected in a bag, which is closed and then extracted at the end of the RARP procedure.
