Incising Gerota’s Fascia

• The 4th (most medial) robotic arm is used to provide anteriormedial retraction.  This step is key to achieve proper tension on Gerota’s fascia.
• Getotas fascia is entered using the monopolar scissors and the incision is carried craniocaudally.  The plane of the psoas muscle should be used as the horizon.
