Description
- Tumor Extraction & Incision Closure
- Tumor is placed into an Endocatch bag
- We usually remove the tumor through the camera port site.
- Reapproximation of the fascia at the extraction site needs to be done with care in order to minimize risks of neuropathic pain in dermatomal distribution that can result from taking big bites of the oblique musculature.
- Drain is placed as per the surgeon preference.
