Harvesting and Preparation of the buccal Mucosa

• The opening of parotic duct is identified.
• Caudal to it the graft is marked.
• Injection of local anesthetics with adrenalin under the graft.
• The mucosa is incised, two stay sutures facilitates harvesting the graft.
• Closing of the wound.
• The graft is placed on a silicon plate and thinned by freeing it from all attached tissue.
